I've been going into LinkedIn more lately and find there are Agents there posting... almost Facebook-Like.

Here's your 28-minute action today.

1. Go to LinkedIn and check your profile. Update if necessary so it's correct and your photo represents you as you are now! (or if you have a photo)

Also, update or include a banner picture on your LinkedIn account. This is a great way to show off your business and your contact information.

2. Post a short note or article. Doesn't need to be long to be effective! And if you post blogs or share articles on your Facebook Business page, you can post on Linked-In, too. Be sure to engage with those commenting on your posts!!

Today's 28-minute Lead Generation idea is to look at your favorite Social Media page... and "like" and/or "comment" on as many posts as you can find that COULD lead to a Lead.

Here are a few ideas:

Find posts about graduation - there are many coming up! Graduates mean someone may be moving in or out of someone else's home. You don't need to talk about that.... you just need to open a door to talk about it later. NOTICE the graduates and comment. THEN follow up with that person. Put them in your Database and create a next contact to ask the question in a few days or a week.

Find posts about Weddings coming up - it 'tis the season! Same guidelines as above.

Find posts about vacations. On them or one planned or just gotten back from. MANY people love a vacation spot and...

I was asked to be interviewed for a social media post by one of the nonprofits I work for, Bpeace.org (Business Council For Peace). I think it is a great reminder that what we think are important goals for ourselves may not be important for others. Always check the ecology of your goals to make sure they are good for all parties involved. 

"𝙄 𝙜𝙧𝙚𝙬 𝙪𝙥 𝙤𝙣 𝙖 𝙧𝙖𝙣𝙘𝙝 𝙞𝙣 𝙆𝙖𝙣𝙨𝙖𝙨, 𝙗𝙪𝙩 𝙢𝙮 𝙙𝙖𝙙 𝙙𝙞𝙙𝙣’𝙩 𝙡𝙞𝙠𝙚 𝙝𝙤𝙧𝙨𝙚𝙨, so it wasn’t until 2016 that I got my horse, River. He has lots of personality, and loves attention; really the perfect retirement buddy. I have to remember to control my business tendencies with him though. I brought my horse-trainer a list of goals to achieve with River over the next year (you know the kind: Specific, Measurable, Achievable, Relevant, and Time-based). Who to text and what?

  • A vendor who did a good job.
  • People who came to your open house recently.
  • Any hot lead you have with SOME bit of information.
  • The tech at the salon who mentioned they might be thinking of buying a home.
  • The FSBO who was nice.
  • The Expired who seemed frustrated.

Today you will look at all your listings, pendings, and hot leads and determine a "truth" that you haven't said out loud to them or haven't said enough times or as clearly as you should have.
Have the courage to Tell as many of the Truths you discover over the next 28 minutes.
This takes Courage. 
Then ask for an introduction to someone they know!

Two Questions on this one:

1. What is the truth? Possible Answer(s):

You can't buy what you're looking for in the price and area you want.
