Set your timer for 5 minutes and use it to think about how good you WANT to be at your job.

Imagine it vividly. You are a knowledgeable, professional, persuasive salesperson in the service of helping others past the Border between what they want...and their reality.
Helping them see past thoughts that stop them from doing what they need to do to reach their goals of buying or selling.

Spend the next 23 minutes contacting people from your "recent calls" on your cell phone.

Simply go to "recent calls" and look at who called you if they are in your contacts, or just dial numbers if there is no name. It's really easy. Sort of like phone roulette, but focused on RECENT contacts! 
If it's a call you missed, start the conversation with "Hey, I missed a call from you/this number (today/yesterday/last week/last month) and I wanted to check to see if it was important!"

Let this lead to as many conversations as will fit in 28 minutes! Look for opportunities to be of RE Service to those you talk with.

Today for 28 minutes choose something you've never done before in lead generation. We've covered some of these and will cover others in the future, but for today try something different.

Don't worry about the outcome... you have permission for 28 minutes to be uncomfortable. You will live. I promise.

Here are some ideas to go an INCH beyond average:

  • Contact those advertising For RENT by the owner and ask if they ever thought of selling. Find someone that owns multiple properties in your area and ask to meet so you can learn what they think about the market and their real estate strategy.
  • Go to Whitepages.com and call people with home numbers around a property you have for sale or coming on the market soon to ask if they know someone wanting to move into the area. Attempt to get in a conversation about what they like best about the area.
  • Pull Owners from your Tax Rolls who've owned 6-8 years. The 7-year itch is a real...

I know, it was yesterday, but today's the next business day and it's time to LOVE on your Vendors! 

Look at the Vendors asking you for business all the time.

Identify which ONE (just one) of these vendors would support you FULLY in achieving your Goals.

Today's action is to write out ONE simple 3-month goal to share with that Vendor. Then call them to set a coffee or lunch appointment (via Zoom is fine) to meet with in the next week.
Tell them you want to share an important 3-month goal with them and that you also want to support them in a 3-month goal too. Ask them to be ready with their goal and that the purpose of the meeting is to see how the two of you can support each other.
Four Simple 3-month goal examples:
1) Add 50 new potential or current buyer/seller leads to my Database.
2) Sell 1 new Buyer or take 1 new Listing a month over the next 3 months...

Your Goal today is to go FASTER. Whatever number of No's you've gotten so far in this series, today's goal is to do it FASTER.

You might try a source that will let you be QUICK on the phone vs getting into big conversations. Say... old leads.  Or maybe using an Auto-Dialer if you have one... whatever you can do to go FAST. How many can you get in 28 minutes? I know someone once who got 21 in 28 minutes. THAT is fast. 21 contacts in 28 minutes!

Your opening might be "Quick Question... did you still want to sell/buy?"

Today we find some way to CELEBRATE every No we can get in 28 minutes. You might decide to put out a bunch of M&M's and eat 1 (or 3) for every No you can get in your 28 minutes...

Or you might go get some money $1's, $5's, $10's, $20's, $50's.... whatever is comfortable for you to "waste" and then give yourself the money to spend for every No you get in 28 minutes on something guilt-free.

The rest would have to go to something you don't want to give it to.... like to a competitor...
