Whatever you might be into, there is probably a Facebook group for it, plus LinkedIn, Meetup, or whatever Groups filled with people who have the same interest as you. HINT: Don't try to do them ALL. Just find ONE.

What better way for a Realtor to build leads than to talk to people who have the same interests? Go see what you can find NOW around what you love to do… and dive in being of service to the group. HINT #2: Don’t talk about real estate, just the topic, unless it comes up in conversation like “I was at one of my new listings tonight and saw (whatever your group is about - their garden, their basset hound, their bottle collection, etc.)

Can't find one? Try searching forums too: Mike searched for "Long Distance Swimming forums Atlanta" and up popped a dozen or so groups.

Remember that you’re not joining to promote yourself and your real estate business; be an active contributor and add value. You’ll notice as you become more and more involved, people are going to become more curious about you and want to know more about you.

That’s when you can show off that you’re the World’s Best Realtor. Get to know them. Then let them know you're there to help support them when they need a Realtor. Because you are a friend too.
