So many of us complicate calling our Database with Monkey Mind:

What will I say?

I haven't called them in a long time (or ever).

I'll be bothering them.

I'm not sure they know who I am.

Don't overcomplicate this. We aren't calling to get a credit card number out of them... We are calling to check on them and see if there is something going on in their lives that you could help with as a Real Estate Agent. That's all.

Hi Jane, It's your name_ at _company_. I was calling to see how you all are doing there at the address. Everything going ok? Anything I can do to help you?

Let THEM talk.

It's an easy conversation.

Oh, and "Gosh, Joe, I'm pretty busy right" now does not mean "bug off and never call again". It means they are busy right now. Ask when is a better time to chat and then schedule yourself to call them again then.

Challenge: Spend at least 28 minutes a day doing this with EVERY PERSON IN YOUR DB until you've talked to or left a message with each one before the end of the year. THIS is how to set up the best year ever NEXT year. By doing this now.

Lastly... be ENERGETIC and ENTHUSIASTIC! It goes a long way.
