Clarity is more than just choosing 3 Primary Life's Intentions. It takes work!

LAD 28 Minute ACTION

We move into step 3 of 4 in the Life's Intentions work this week. I hope you are having FUN with this work! It can change your life. NOTE: Today's work may take more than 28 minutes... Are you willing?

Using the 3 Primary Life Intentions you chose yesterday, write out exactly what that means to you. This is personal. Don’t spend a ton of time. Just some basic clarity around it. Example - 3 people have the same Primary LI around being "Financially Successful.”

Person 1 defines it as: I never bounce a check. I keep at least $200 more than I need in my checking account at all times.  I pay all bills on time or early for the entire year. I save 10% of each check into a savings account and open a retirement account by end of the year with $500 or more in it.

Person 2 defines it as: I save 20% of each check until I have a savings account balance of $5,000. When I have this cushion, I spend 20% of each check toward debts paying off the extra principal on debt. I put 5% from each check into my retirement account.

Person 3 defines it as:  I put 20% of my income into my Child's college fund until $40K is invested.  Having disciplined my savings in this way, remaining checks put 20% into savings until I buy my first rental property with 30% down. I keep 5 digits in my checking account after all bills are paid each month. I put away 10% from each check into a retirement plan.

As you can see, these all are what each person considers “financially successful" and it’s easy to say "Yes I did that" or "No I didn’t do that" at the end of the year.  It’s clear.

No matter how long the above takes, get it done. THEN I challenge you to spend another 28 minutes calling every FSBO you can find (go to Zillow, CL, FSBO.com, etc.) and ask them if they are offering a commission to a Buyer's Agent. Then ask if you can preview the home and set an appointment to go see it.

(DO NOT PROMISE YOU HAVE A BUYER IF YOU DO NOT HAVE ONE.)
