Two Questions on this one:
1. What is the truth? Possible Answer(s):
You can't buy what you're looking for in the price and area you want.
The house hasn't sold in 30 days. We must change the price to get people to look again. Waiting probably won't help, unless you are willing to wait a LONG time.
The trajectory on prices and interest rates is that they will be at X more than now in the next few months costing you Y.
We can't sell the house if it smells bad, is cluttered, and is dirty.
What are we going to do about this? Come up with solutions.
2. How do we follow THAT with a referral request???
You know, Joe... telling the truth to you is hard. But I'm an Agent that is willing to tell you the truth to help you in the long run and I know you will appreciate that later, even if it's uncomfortable now. We both know that.
I want you to know that I tell ALL my clients the truth when it needs to be done and I hope if nothing else, you can respect that.
With that in mind... I'd like to ask you a favor. I am looking for 5 more people that need my services over the next month and I'd like to ask you if you are willing to introduce me only IF you should run into anyone that needs a great Agent.
