Today's 28-minute Lead Generation idea is to Sponsor a Contest.
Contact your local non-franchised diner, restaurant, or gym and talk with the owner/ manager about hosting a contest. Offer to pay for a free month of membership, a meal, or some other item in exchange for being able to collect cards or information sheets in a fishbowl or better yet, a Raffle Box.
You could also do a flat-screen tv (they’re cheap now) every quarter (or something else large like that) for all entries each quarter. The owner may even Co-Sponsor it with you!
The conversation might go like this:
“I really enjoy your establishment and wanted to create a little excitement and hold a contest each month for a free (meal, monthly dues, etc). All I’d need is a little spot to put an entry Box... and your permission. What do you think?”
Collect the cards and call them to say you’ve won or you didn’t win this month, enter again for next month's drawing! If you are doing a bigger quarterly drawing, tell them they are still entered for that... and of course, talk to them about their real estate needs and send a handwritten note to follow up!
Voila' Tons of new local leads...
